Non-Photorealistic Rendering

This was a workflow developed for a range of clients where we wanted them to focus initially on the quality of the spaces and the architecture, and only later on the materials. In collaboration with work on the archicad.ca blog, Andy documented the process to obtain good quality NPR renderings using ArchiCad’s Lightworks and Sketch render functions only, and then subsequently automating the compositing of these two renderings in photoshop.

Would love to see the full instructions for this techniqe. I remember the trick about adding the noise in photoshop, but there were other fine points too.

Nice – I like the automation idea.
